Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actress. After her debut on film during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy earned an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for more than 20 years. Her career in film began in the early 1980s when she starred as a crime drama actress, Bad Boys. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. After her breakthrough in her first film she also appeared in the comedy drama The Breakfast Club. John Hughes's film The Breakfast Club is considered as being among the the best high school films. The film was made for just $1,000,000, but the film made in excess of $50 million. In the meantime, she was also being featured in various shows on TV including CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. In April of 1980, the show began to air. It was aimed at young people. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other television shows that she appeared in. Recent appearances by Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she is a character. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her stellar performances including the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
