Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She also coaches and instructor for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman to has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. Her second place finish was in the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her both her parents and siblings were raised at Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young childhood, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit games at California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 (by 2021). Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. Her performance was impressive at her very first games. She was within the top 10 of 70 competitors. But she did not win an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen guided her to a second place finish in CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. In the following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performances. She became the first woman to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is the only female to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. Additionally, in 2014, she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. In the last few years, as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many others. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family and travel vlogs are shared.
