Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie became the very first female to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir - the Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit athlete and a media celebrity is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. Her fame has been built on being the first woman ever to win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. When she was a kid she was a huge enthusiast of fitness and sports. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit events in California. Her first results were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir is, as of 2021, is age 31. She's 5'7 tall and weighs 67 kg. Annie started the CrossFit training in the year 2009, in California. She performed very well in the initial games. Annie was ranked among in the top 10 among over 70. However, she was unable to earn any titles, and finished 11th in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. Following that she was a participant with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performance. She became the first woman to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was the first woman who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. She also received a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded with a bronze. Presently Annie coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's rising recognition as a professional athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. She also has her own Youtube channel called "Annie" which has over 1,000 subscribers. This is the channel where she posts videos on training diet, family life as well as travel.
