Jennifer Lopez was born into a Puerto Rican immigrant family in 1969. Lopez was a dancer throughout her youth, and at age 16 she made her film debut through a tiny role in My Little Girl (1986). Lopez became the star of the police investigation Shades of Blue (2016) in which she played an officer who is ambivalent.
